The Power of Remote Medicine…a story from a mom in Wyoming

Tara lives with her hus­band and three young chil­dren in a small town in Wyoming sev­er­al hours from a  gro­cery store or phar­ma­cy.  She first con­tact­ed us in Feb­ru­ary, 2014 about her 4 ½ year old son.   He would not poop on the toi­let.  She had tried every­thing from reward­ing him to tak­ing away his favorite toys.  Noth­ing had worked.

First and for most I must explain where we live. We live in this very small remote town, Big Piney Wyoming, pop­u­la­tion maybe 1000 peo­ple. We have to dri­ve cou­ple hours for any kind of gro­ceries, yes very remote. Now get to know us and just a lit­tle his­to­ry, I’ve been try­ing to pot­ty train my youngest son for 3 1⁄2 years, whose now almost 5. Pee­ing part was no prob­lem at all, how­ev­er the poop­ing toi­let thing was a huge huge strug­gle for us.
